I-Can Manage is an e-learning, self-management program that provides patients and caregivers with the information and practical skills to effectively take charge of their own cancer experience.

This program is aimed to help patients to take an active role in managing the effects of cancer and treatment and help aid in regaining a sense of control in their daily life.

The I-Can Manage program design process consisted of many rounds of usability testing sessions and design ideation workshops. My roles in the creation of the I-Can Manage program included, the I-can Manage branding, creating the illustrations throughout the platform and participating in the UX/UI design which consisted of designing and developing the e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline.

We conducted observation sessions with volunteer cancer patients. In these sessions, we took note on where patients struggled with using the platform and recorded any personal critiques they had with the e-learnings. With the feedback from the observation sessions, we implemented new design solutions to create an overall better user experience.
